Google Search Console Connector – Data Set Configuration Error

Hi

I’m experiencing an issue with the Google Search Console connector in my Looker Studio dashboards. Everything was working perfectly yesterday, but today, some tables and charts are showing the following error:

Data Set Configuration Error> Looker Studio cannot connect to your data set.> Failed to fetch data from the underlying data set

Interestingly, this issue is only occurring with the Google Search Console connector, and even more specifically, it only affects tables and charts. Time series charts are still working properly with the same data source.

I’ve already tried refreshing the data and reloading the dashboard, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else encountered this recently? Any suggestions or known issues with the GSC connector today?

Are you still getting this error? It just popped up for me yesterday and I am researching it now after refreshing my data set.

It happened the same to me today! Yesterday I was using and it was perfect, and today everything is missing. I have no idea of what happened..

We did figure out a solution! We are on a managed network. We had our tech department create an email account for us that was not connected to any team accounts. We log in now with that account and shared all of the Looker pages we created on the old account with the new account. I hope that works for you.
