I am looking to trial the new Gemini AI features at my company - but don’t want to give everyone access immediately. Is there a way to only enable Gemini capabilities for certain roles / user groups?
I’m pretty sure that’s not possible, but I’m curious about your use case! Why might you not want to share Gemini features with all of your users?
Our lookML infrastructure is not the cleanest (ex: different users defined ‘conversion rate’ differently across multiple views and explores) and already have issues in our org of people pulling incorrect data. We wanted to make sure that Gemini wouldn’t go about giving people wrong answers due to our poor setup

Just to follow up on this question - apparently there isn’t any way to limit Gemini in Looker during the public preview phase, but once it is generally available there will be a ‘Gemini’ permission that a user will need to have to access the features.

I believe now that Gemini has become generally available for usage in Looker. So do we have any restrictions options enabled at this stage? say only developers only should be using the feature and not any users/super users
