Erroneous placement of Default date range filter

Hi guys, as of yesterday (that I know of), there is an error with the placement of the Default date range filter.

When I click on a scorecard or chart within one of my reports, then click the ‘Setup’ tab and scroll down to the Default date range filter and click the date drop-down, the vast majority of the calendar appears off screen.

I can see the first row of dates for a particular month but the rest of the calendar is below the screen and there is no option to scroll or move the calendar. This only happens with the initial date range selector, as if I select a comparison date range and click that associated drop-down, the calendar appears as expected. This means I can’t select the dates I want.

I’m viewing Looker Studio on desktop. The only workaround I’ve found is to Inspect on Chrome and view as though I’m working on a mobile. That way I can click the dates I need - albeit they are very small and it’s time consuming to use this workaround. I’ll post an image below if my permissions allow.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron.

same issue. zooming out the browser to 50%-75% was a workaround for me.

Yeah, it’s annoying. Even if I zoom out 50% I get the same issue. I have to emulate working on a mobile to properly use the functionality and it makes the dates tiny.

I’m new to these forums, so what happens now? Is the issue reported, or does someone from Google have a look?

Same issue.

I saw this workaround in another thread about the same issue and it worked foir me. zoom out of the browser ibn view mode to 50%-75% and then return to edit mode. it’s a pain in the butt but it works.

Same issue here. Google needs to correct this issues ASAP. It is a big annoyance.

This has been reported by dozens (hundreds?) of people for the past 7 days. How is this still broken? :man_facepalming:

Hi guys, I’m still experiencing this issue, and I wondered if you know of any update? Thanks.
